PPL is an experienced provider of support and guidance for people who receive Direct Payments. Our Wirral-based team will offer you a personalised service to ensure you have choice and control over your care & support package.

Our Aim:

To enable you to maximise your independence so you are able to live the life you choose. We do this through providing the following services:

• We provide clear advice on using Direct Payments and the pre-paid card system.

• We help you understand your legal responsibilities as an employer and how to manage your Direct Payments confidently and safely.

• Our team offers expert guidance and keeps you informed about best practices for Direct Payments.

• We support you in finding, vetting, and recruiting suitable Personal Assistants, including access to a digital PA register and give help with DBS checks.

• You can rely on us for employment advice covering contracts, training, supervision, and managing workplace issues.

• We work with partners to offer training opportunities and help you access funding for you and your PAs.

• Our payroll service takes care of wages, tax, National Insurance, and HMRC submissions.

• We offer managed account services to handle the financial side of Direct Payments on your behalf.

• We help you plan for contingencies, including PA absences, emergencies, and changes in circumstances.
